Love Island US Season 5 Episode 33 started where the last episode left us, and that was at the final recoupling. Kassy and Johnnie were left to make their decision. So Kassy picked Leo, and then Johnnie picked Scott. This left Matia uncoupled and hence dumped from the villa.
So the guys got sent on the mission, but at the villa, Imani is trying to sell her connection with Zay. While talking about Zay, Imani says, “I think he has, like, a lot of qualities like him being sweet and open-minded and knowing what he wants. And I felt like butterflies like. He’s actively showing me that he is a man of his word, and all of how I felt about him so far is looking pretty good.”
Imani, life for you will probably be better on the outside than on the inside. Because on the outside, I can only imagine how many people are trying to slide, and you’re going to hold yourself for Zay?
Earlier in the days, Zay even said he feels like, I don’t know if he said, “at the moment,” but I’m going to say at the moment, it is friend vibes, and he doesn’t want to force things. So they’re definitely not in the same mindset when it comes to this relationship.
Love Island US Season 5 Episode 33 Recap & Review
The guys get a text in Love Island US Season 5, Episode 33 that they are going to be cooking in the evening. However, they are sent on a shopping trip to get the groceries. At first, I was like, “Ohh, this is kind of cute”. And then I was like, “No, this is concerning”.
It bothers me that men in their 20s don’t know how to cook. What are we doing being of age 24/25 and not knowing how to cook? Zay took charge; I think he’s one of the younger ones in the group. I think Leo is the youngest, and then after him might be either Scott or Zay.
Zay was the one who took charge and helped the men cook, and apparently, it turned out great. Burgie made a dessert, and he made a cake. I’m not sure if it was good or not, but it was Chocolate.
Yeah, I thought the gesture was cute of the producers making the guys cook for the women. That was great and all, but more of y’all need to take lessons because this is embarrassing.
Imani And Zay Are Dumped
The Islanders get another text, and they have to vote for their couple, who they believe the least compatible couple is. There are really only three available options, so let’s go through the results. Carmen and Kenzo voted for Zay and Imani. Zay and Imani voted for Destiny and Kyle. Destiny and Kyle voted for Imani and Zay.
Taylor and Bergie could not make a decision. Literally, they had nothing to say but ended up settling on Scott and Johnnie. I’m going to say this probably because it’s friendship because, realistically, I think the better choice would have been either Destiny and Kyle or Imani and Zay. But Bergie has spent considerable time with both of them over the people in Scott and Johnnie’s coupling.
Marco and Hannah voted for Kyle and Destiny. Leo and Kassy voted for Zay and Imani. And last was Scott and Johnnie, and they voted for Zay and Imani, focusing on the fact that Zay, early in the day, had called his connection with Imani like a friend thing.
But Zay was, for some reason, arguing and blaming others for that. Zay, just get up and go. Why are you wasting your breath? It’s like people forget this show is filmed. And yes, even though they only take 40 minutes to maybe 90 of a 24-hour day, the things that you did say are irrefutable. You did say it was friendship, so what are we fighting about here?
Anyways, Imani is like, “Listen, I have no regrets. It’s all good, don’t blame it on him, and It is what it is. However, there are some other couples who should be in the same position as us”. And a few of them let each other know on their way out that like, “Listen, it could have been you.”
It is safe to say Imani and Destiny are likely not going to be friends after the show. And if they are friends, y’all got to like some different type of man because this can’t keep happening. You’ll need to diversify your portfolios, OK?
